Cable glands are electrical devices that are used to protect electrical cables in explosion-prone areas. These glands contain special materials that prevent the spread of sparks and electrical arcs, which could cause an explosion. Cable inlets for hazardous areas are mainly used in the chemical, refining, petroleum and other industries where there is a risk of explosion due to the presence of flammable gases, liquids or dust.

WM…m type cable glands (equipped with an additional cable clamp) are designed for feeding cables and power cables into flameproof or reinforced enclosures in Group I and II explosion-proof electrical equipment, or into dust-tight enclosures in the case of Group III equipment. The AP.. adapter allows the mounting of the WM.. cable gland to be changed from threaded to a flat flange, mounted from the inside or outside of the device enclosure. WM with adapter is the perfect solution for Gothe junction boxes.
